Author: This following lighting project is the work of the awesome german designer Christian Haas and it’s called ROPES lamps.
Christian Haas on his lamps:
ROPES is a new series of lamps launched this week at Colette, Paris. The idea behind the lamps was to combine LED-technology with a innovative soft look and textile appeal. Unlit, the lamps provide a graphic statement to their environment. Lit, they diffuse a gentle ambient light.
Each piece is unique, numbered and varies in size and technique. ROPES are handmade in France and Germany.
This looks pretty neat, so what do you think? Is this the most awkward lamp or what? If you found something better than this, don’t be a lamp and just stay there, go ahead and drop a link.
