5 Decoration Tips for Your Bedroom
Guest Post
It’s the bedroom that’s one of the most important sections of a home. Bedrooms are a place to relax and regain that lost energy, leave the stress of anything. Of late, there are five mainstays of a bedroom to be kept in mind as far as its decoration is concerned.
Let’s quickly navigate through those crucial points so that you can kickoff the decoration for the bedroom in a flash.
1. Bedding
If you are planning to buy the bedroom furniture on a tight budget then you must start off with a simple bed spread and bed skirt. Work accordingly to see what you want depending on your personality and season’s demand.
Modern Extension of Edwardian Terrace House in London

What you’re about to see here is a atypical extension of a Edwardian terrace house in London designed by Paul McAneary Architects. The concept behind the extension is that the interior space should be perceived as a connection to the garden, that the garden can be perceived as an extension of the indoor domestic space.

The stylish modern design of the extension features clear and clean lines, tat are very common in modern architecture. What is interesting is that the whole design has a twist of 30°that allows physical and perceptive overlapping between the indoor and the outdoor spaces. The same idea can be noticed on the zinc facade and also on the external floating deck.

One of our friends over at Pack Publishing asked us to include in our news the Launch of their Fifth Annual Open Source Awards, so here are the details:
The 2010 Open Source Awards was launched today by Packt, inviting people to visit www.PacktPub.com and submit nominations for their favorite Open Source project. Now in its fifth year, the Award has been adapted from the established Open Source CMS Award with the wider aim of encouraging, supporting, recognizing and rewarding all Open Source projects.
WordPress won the 2009 Open Source Content Management System (CMS) Award in what was a very close contest with MODx and SilverStripe. While MODx was the first runner up, SilverStripe, a Most Promising CMS Award winner in 2008, made its way to the second runner up position in its first year in the Open Source CMS Award final.
