Efrain E. Velez | The O-Lithas Collection

Efrain E. Velez,is an architect and designer from Austin, Texas and this is the O-Lithas collection of cast concrete furniture he has created.

I found this on the Contemporist website in furniture. I love concrete as a material for furniture, actually I’ve wanted to start a business with this, but that remained at the stage of concept and sketches. Anyway, this collection is awesome, and if you love modernism, than this has the perfect lines for you. I know, the house in the background is brilliant, and yes, I will give you details about it after the pictures, aight?

Arte of Belgium – Wall Paper and Wall Coverings

Wall paper and wall coverings, a great way to mask a crack in your wall, or for some a form of art or a manifesto. Combining art and style, can sometimes have a interesting outcome.

Arte of Belgium takes wall paper design to another level with their collection that covers a wide array of textures, colors, and styles. The Arte collection goes beyond the simple flat wall-covering and brings the wall enchantingly to life with real depth. French architect Le Corbusier so poetically put it, ‘le jeu savant des formes sous la lumière’ (the clever game of forms in light). The surface of the wall is such that it changes according to the intensity of light and the angle from which it is viewed. Visit arte-international.com and discover endless wall paper and wall covering possibilities. Read the rest of this entry »
