This is an elegant floor lamp designed by Monica Forster, made for Italian furniture company De Padova. These casual yet contemporary floor lamps feature a playful parasol style shade perched atop an arching steel base that’s ever-so elegant.

The soft shining, flopping aluminum shade features rubber-effect polyurethane paint that gives it a casual feel, and the powder-coated base is built to last. At first glance this might look like a ordinary glass table with a cool design, but there’s more to it than that. In the middle of the table there are solar panels. It’s been a while since we talked about Lamps and Lighting here at Archtopia. But this founding has caught our attention because of the interesting concept behind it. Very often the final look of the whole room depends of the chosen lamp. Le Soleil is a suspension lamp designed by Vincent Garcia Jimenez for Foscarini can ideally fit to any contemporary modern interior design. This lamp is made of polycarbonates and thanks to that it creates an unique luminous effect. The shade has an interesting beautiful design and its shape provides a good lighting to a room.

If you’re finding bubbles squeezing childish for stress relieving, you might re-consider, because this little balls entertaining. One thing that has taken my fancy is lights and the unique odd ways in which I can use it to my advantage. Well, probably this lamp won’t kill incandescent lamps altogether and at once, but it’s gonna slay some of them for sure. It’s called the “Allure” and it’s a pretty amazing floor lamp. It looks like a fantastic set of tentacles. Multiple light sources from the same lamp – that’s amazing! Amazing! And not only that, but while the lamp base is meant to stay in place on the ground, the lamp post rotates. Gorgeous, isn’t it?

The best part of the lamp is the remote. Why? Probably because it looks fabulous. But let me tell you about the remote anyway, ok? The remote’s got a power switch, a top light activator, a low light activator, and an RGB button. What do you do with that? You turn on all the different colors! At the base of the lamp is the source of the colors.

Yeah, you probably see this kinda stuff all the time, but anyway, give this hotel a try, ok? This is a pretty a awesome one. Why? Because of the lights! The designers in this here project bring you a couple of lighting solutions that make the newly renovated Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel, Monte-Carlo S.B.M. a sight to behold! Come with me! Light up your seaside world!

These fixtures are made from laser-cut metal sheets cut to leaf-like aesthetics with a ring for fixation around the light source. A hammering technique used with the sheets gives them each a unique look. The disk that holds these leaves to the light source is turnable, allowing for multiple settings in each lamp.

Now there’s two lighting solutions here, don’t fool yourself, one of them circular, a very nice and basically basic solution exclusively for the ceiling. The other is my favorite. A system of superimposed short disks combine several sheets which reflect light off in all sorts of directions and intensities.

While these lovely lights are often set all by their lonesome on the sides of walls and on ceilings, the grand conglomeration takes place in the lobby. The lobby is a giant dome, with a cone-shaped center ceiling filled with this unique lamps for a lovely view.
