Illustrator Tutorial – Skew Text in Illustrator CS5
Illustrator is one of my favorite software made by Adobe, and I use it a lot in my design projects, but one thing that seemed to make it undesirable, and totally annoying was the fact that you couldn’t or at least I couldn’t use the “skew” function as you would in Photoshop.
When you need to create a simple perspective text like the one in this tutorial you would, probably as me go to Photoshop, create your skewed text, and export it to illustrator. Well, those days are gone, since now there is a solution.
I made a video for you describing in detail how to create a perspective tool. I will also transcribe it so you can get around it more easily if me talking wasn’t clear enough, or you missed some steps.
