Floating site on the river
This site, where is floating on river and confronted the graceful landscape, was strongly recognized to me as a part of nature, from the first time that I met.
From then, I started to visualize “the architectural nature” as a place of recreation.
Form of site = Form of architecture = Maximum efficiency of landuse
While maximizing the efficiency of landuse, the leaner concrete mass, that cherishes the courtyard where is filled with the water and the greenery, was laid out on this site along the irregular formed site line.
Isay Weinfeld – Marrom House

Architect: Isay Weinfeld
Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Built area: 635sqm
Year: 2004
Photographs: Leonardo Finotti

This is a 4-level house built for a family of 4 – a couple and 2 teenage kids. Very informal people, they wanted a warm, comfortable house where they could all host friends and have fun together. From the street a few steps up, one enters the house on ground level. Wide living areas – sitting, dining and TV rooms – were designed all in succession and open onto the garden, the patio and even the pool so as to allow for full integration between spaces, and interaction between guests. Privacy is yet possible to get in this house, as large doors may slide out from recesses in the walls and separate rooms as necessary.

The 6 star hotel resort Soneva Kiri is located on Koh Kood, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. At this unique site, 24H-architecture designed a series of ecological icons to contribute to Six Senses’ high ambitions in design and ecology. Most prominent is The Children Activity and Learning Centre, which will provide visiting children a wide range of entertaining activities as well as raise the level of ecological awareness with them. This Den provides an Auditorium/Cinema for films, lectures and plays, a library with books on permaculture and local traditions, an Art room, a Music room and Fashion room, thus giving children both creative and ecological education while playing.
