Iris Maschek | Wallpaper Collection
Iris Maschek already has developed a successful career in designing textiles and wall treatments for European brands like Rasch, Eijffinger, Creation Baumann, and Dedar, but having her own line leaves her free to explore darker, more experimental imagery and proportions. The Following wallpapers are the first collection signed directly by the mentioned designer.

Wallpaper Alternative: Decorative Panels
Maybe you’ve seen our other posts about wallpaper and wall coverings we had in the past, if now you can check it out in the wall coverings section. The following collection is a great alternative to the classic paint or some plain wallpaper.

From B&N Industries come these innovative wallpaper ideas, a lovely alternative for plain paint. A large variety of patterns is available and if at one point you are not happy with what lies on your wall, you can make a personal adjustment: create new patterns starting from the original one.

Still, you should know these wallpapers can be scratched with almost no visible effect, however if you try really hard it may just work. Aside from their “strength”, we should emphasize on the fact that they are very elegant and versatile, meaning they go well with almost any design style. This is due to the fact that they are mostly monochromatic and the patterns are not flashy. There are many colors to chose from, but black and white are the favored ones. -via Perfecto Ambiente
Everchanging Wall Coverings?

Change It!
Ok, ok!!! This is not exactly something you would call a wall covering, I know. But still… This amazing concept was designed by the incomparable Amirko, and it’s real name is “Change It!” Ohh scoop it! It’s one big wall of turn-triangles. Each of these triangles has different colors on them – white – black – and a slightly unique rainbow shade. As you can see in the first picture here, when the color is on full blast, it makes a mural all it’s own.
What combination of madness can be made? Let the sky be the limit!

Change It! - Black
For now it’s the colors as explained above. In the future it might have any number of different choices for the sides – lights, materials, typography, body parts, animal fur, whatever you can imagine!

No more Wallpaper. Only Inhabit Wall Flats.
As we made it our job to help you stay informed on where we feel the trends are going, we’d like to make an announcement– “Wallpaper and wall coverings are no longer a womans decision. Henceforth, the man shall hold the proverbial brush that covers that naked canvas of the walls in your home… but women are totally welcome to do all the painting work, providing that we choose the color.” (just kidding, we know we’re grasping at straws here, ladies)
Inhabit Wall Flats

The Inhabit Wall Flats come in five different designs, including the Seasaw design shown above. Let’s take a look at the other four: Braille, Bud, Industry, and Shangri-La.

So here we go with the first finding in wall covering:
1. Camila Dietrich’s Wall Coverings
Ms. Diedrich wanted to create a wall covering ‘which used real light without having to make use of too much technology. The design, which has a fibre optic appeal, creates a luminous floral pattern, bringing nature into the home and casting a soft glow through any interior space.’ Glow + luminous + nature = major swoon
