Create a Metal Grille using the Transform Effect

Ok, now this tutorial is one of my favorites, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you definitely should check it out, it has a video and it goes step by step.

I will use this very soon in one of my projects. Love this one.

Illustrator’s Transform effect makes it quick and easy to create a pattern from any object.

Add some careful highlighting and gradients, and you’ve got a metallic industrial background.

Realistic, Vector Building Illustration

This tutorial is for premium users, but regular users can see it also. You won’t be able to use the resources they provide in downloadable files, but you can still extract some precious gems out of it. This is a massive tutorial that documents the creation of a realistic vector, building illustration, which is based on a photo reference. There are numerous techniques covered, each section is very well detailed with documentation on each step and process used to create this artwork. Doing a large project like this will build your vector skills immensely. If you love working with illustrator, this is a must learn in your learning curve.

Realistic Egg – Vector Premium Tutorial

This is another premium tutorial, but it’s so crazy awesome that it just can’t be avoided. This takes illustration to a whole new level.

You’ll use Illustrator tools, such as: the Opacity Mask, Envelope Distort, Texturizer, and Gradient Mesh. Find out how simple the techniques are to achieve this excellent result. Learn how to master lighting, perspective, reflection and surface texture to bring realism to your work.

Hope you enjoyed this round-up of tutorials, and hope you will find them useful. More coming soon.
